Meet Alexis

Alexis is a massage practitioner, yoga teacher, and breathwork guide who offers highly intuitive, nurturing care. She graduated from the California Holistic Institute in 2021, where her massage training introduced her to a wide range of modalities. Her practice includes deep tissue, myofascial release, prenatal, Swedish, reflexology, cupping, hot stone, Ayurvedic massage, lymphatic drainage, and energetic bodywork. Each session is thoughtfully tailored to support both therapeutic healing and a sense of deep rest and nourishment.

Alexis is deeply intentional with her language, pacing, and touch, creating a space where the nervous system can soften and the body can reconnect with its innate wisdom. Reiki and energy healing may be gently woven into sessions to support balance, relaxation, and self-connection. She believes healing unfolds through presence, intentional touch, breath, and compassionate awareness, and her approach honors each person’s unique needs, boundaries, and lived experience.

In 2023, Alexis completed her 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training in Costa Rica. Immersed in the jungle and newly pregnant with her first child, she was profoundly shaped by the power of stillness, community, and embodied practice. As a trauma-informed yoga teacher and breathwork guide, she emphasizes nervous system regulation, grounding, and reconnection through breath-centered movement and mindful awareness.

Her practice is an expression of care, weaving multiple modalities to support and nourish both individuals and community. Alexis is devoted to remaining a lifelong student, leading with love and intention.

Benefits of Massage Therapy

Pain Relief

Massage can help reduce muscle tension, soreness, and chronic pain, particularly in the back, neck, and shoulders.

Improved Circulation

By enhancing blood flow, massage promotes oxygen and nutrient delivery to tissues, which aids in muscle recovery and overall wellness.

Flexibility and Range of Motion

Regular massages can improve flexibility by loosening tight muscles and increasing range of motion.

Enhanced Recovery

Athletes and active individuals benefit from faster recovery and reduced muscle stiffness after intense physical activity.

Boosted Immunity & Energy Levels

Some studies suggest that massage can enhance the body’s immune response by reducing cortisol levels and increasing lymphocyte activity. Many people experience an increase in energy after a massage due to improved circulation and tension release.

Stress & Anxiety Reduction

One of the most well-known benefits of massage is its ability to reduce stress by lowering cortisol levels, which helps improve overall mood. Massage stimulates the production of serotonin and dopamine, which are neurotransmitters that help reduce anxiety and combat depression.

Better Sleep

Massage can promote relaxation, often leading to better sleep quality and reduced insomnia symptoms.

Improved Focus and Mental Clarity

The relaxation effects of massage can lead to better focus, concentration, and mental clarity.

Detoxification

Massage can aid the lymphatic system in removing toxins from the body, contributing to overall wellness.

Relaxation

It’s an excellent way to take a break from the daily grind, reset mentally, and nurture the body.
