Who We Are

Aram Casparian

Doctor of Chiropractic

Dr. Aram is rooted in the understanding that a balanced body heals itself spontaneously and completely by its own innate and natural intelligence.

He has been blessed to serve as a chiropractor for 18 years. His unique approach is informed by Sacro-Occipital and Diversified techniques as well as Chiropractic Biophysics. His is a truly holistic approach involving multiple body systems. He continues to immerse himself in study––for the past several years primarily in movement and fascia systems. Most recently, in the last few years, his practice has evolved to include the spiritual, psychological, and emotional bodies, as his own awakening has impressed that imperative.

Dr. Aram knew that chiropractic was his path from a young age. He received his first adjustment at 15 years old after a car accident left him with severe neck pain, allergies, and headaches, as well as vision and concentration issues. His symptoms resolved with chiropractic treatment and he immediately understood the purpose of his passion for anatomy and physiology.

Dr. Aram pursued an undergraduate degree in Food Science at Cal Poly in San Luis Obispo, and his strong interest in nutrition and sustainable agriculture informs his approach today. After four years working in the nutritional supplement and homeopathic remedy business, the original vision of a career in chiropractic called him back. He achieved his Doctor of Chiropractic at Life Chiropractic College West in 2007.

He lives with his two sons and partner Sharayah in Los Osos where you will find him on the trails or on the water most days. He is proud to have Coast Wellness Center sponsor the SLO Gravel bike racing team and is looking forward to lining up with the squad for the 2026 season!

Sharayah Monroe

Office Manager, Lead Instructor

Drawing on over a decade of experience across healthcare settings—in dentistry, skilled nursing, hospice care, physical therapy, and chiropractic—Sharayah brings a valuable perspective to her work at Coast Wellness Center. She is passionate about creating spaces where healing, growth, and open communication can thrive, and she approaches her work with warmth, commitment, and deep care. Sharayah's personal journey, enriched by her diverse healthcare background, has shaped a well-rounded, heart-centered approach to running a business rooted in service.

Sharayah was introduced to yoga at age 7 by her mom and practiced intermittently in childhood. Growing up with a Waldorf education, she was immersed in nature, art, music, and movement as a way of life. Nature is her place of worship, and she spends much of her time outside, both in movement and in stillness.

In the throes of a battle with depression and C-PTSD, Sharayah rediscovered yoga as a young adult. Meditation and movement, including long-distance trail running, became her saving grace. She completed her 200-hour YTT in 2023 and instantly fell in love with teaching. Sharayah is most fulfilled not by helping her students learn postures, but by guiding them to stillness. It is in this space that she’s found the most healing and the deepest sense of connection. She is currently enrolled in her 300-hour Advanced Yoga Teacher Training and is committed to being a lifelong student of the practice. It is Sharayah’s joyful purpose to offer an open-hearted and loving spirit to each of her students at Coast Yoga + Movement, and she plans to teach for the rest of her life.

Sharayah’s work in education and healthcare led her to Southeast Asia and East Africa, respectively. She was guided to deepen her meditation practice in Thailand, where she completed silent Vipassanā retreats first in 2018 and again in 2023. She recently returned to school to complete her degree in Psychology, and will soon integrate yoga and meditation, health & wellness coaching, and ecotherapy into her work as a guide and mentor. She is particularly passionate about working with young women and girls, helping them to find a home in their bodies and nurture their connection to Earth and Spirit.

Sharayah is blessed to share her life with her partner Aram and his two sons, and is thankful to call the Central Coast her home.

We can’t wait to see you.
