Class Descriptions

  • Slow Flow

    In Slow Flow, we integrate mindful movement with breath. Slow does not always mean easy, as we'll hold postures long enough to feel the flow of energy they create in the body, cultivating deep internal awareness. This class is for all levels.

  • Vinyasa

    Often called "flow" yoga, Vinyasa is a dynamic practice that links breath to movement. We'll move with intention, cultivating a gentle internal heat as we build strength, flexibility, and balance. In a 75-minute class, we'll enjoy a long final resting pose. Best for students with some prior yoga experience.

  • Gentle Yoga

    In Gentle Yoga, we'll focus on stretching the muscles of the body and moving slowly through different planes of motion. Expect to spend most of our time seated and lying down. This class is for all levels, including beginners and those recovering from injury.

  • Restorative Yoga

    Restorative Yoga is a practice for calming the nervous system. We will use props to support our bodies in deep relaxation. All restorative postures are passive and are held for extended periods of time. We will create space to be with our emotions and heal from stress. This class is for everyone.

  • Mat Pilates

    This class focuses primarily on strengthening and lengthening the core muscles. We'll utilize a variety of Pilates mat exercises, including abdominal work, back extensions, and movements that challenge balance and stability. Exercises are modifiable for all levels.

  • Functional Movement

    This class focuses on improving overall movement quality and optimizing postural alignment. We'll explore a variety of exercises designed to enhance mobility while cultivating greater awareness of your body's natural movement patterns, supporting you to move with more ease and efficiency.

  • Donation-Based Community Yoga

    In this open-level yoga class, we'll explore a variety of postures and mindfulness practices. Each class will be uniquely shaped by those who attend. This is a donation-based class offered as a gift to our community. Your support, in any amount, helps to make this shared practice possible.
